Bandwidth Usage and Cloud Storage

Is your internet acting slow?

You may have one or more devices on your network automatically using most of your bandwidth for backups and syncing. Cloud services on a device can use up all of your available upload bandwidth, and many cloud backup programs show no indication that a backup is happening.

For each device, if your cloud service allows, set limits on the upload speed to no more than 50% of your total upload bandwidth. See http://www.caltelconnect.com/internet to see what upload speeds we offer. If you do not have the option to do that, turn off the cloud service altogether. When cloud services are properly limited or turned off, internet speeds will return to normal.
