Bandwidth Usage and Cloud Storage

Is your internet acting slow?

You may have one or more devices on your network automatically using most of your bandwidth for backups and syncing. Cloud services on a device can use up all of your available upload bandwidth, and many cloud backup programs show no indication that a backup is happening.

For each device, if your cloud service allows, set limits on the upload speed to no more than 50% of your total upload bandwidth. Many cloud services do not have the ability to set limits on bandwidth. These services (iCloud, oneDrive are two examples) have no other option than to turn off syncing. When cloud services are properly limited or turned off, internet speeds will return to normal.

The speeds we offer are listed here: http://www.caltelconnect.com/internet. Not all speeds are available in all areas.
