Answer: Dial-up Connection Drops After 20 Minutes
Click on 'Start' then go to the 'Control Panel'.
In the 'Control Panel' go into Internet Options.
Click the tab at the top of “Internet Properties” labeled 'Connections'.
Double-click your dial-up connection listed in the “Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings” box.
Click the button labelled 'Advanced'.
Uncheck 'Disconnect if idle for 20 minutes'.
Click 'OK'.
Click 'OK' again.
Click 'OK' on the “Internet Properties” window to close it.
