CalTel Internet Support

K-9 Mail is an Android EMail application for your smart phone. This can be found in the Google Play Store

CalTel recommends but does not support this 3rd party software. Please contact the software developer if you experience problems.

1. Open the software and agree to the license agreement by clicking 'Next':
   
2. You will be prompted to enter your email and password:
   
3. Enter your full caltel email address and password, then click 'Next':
   
4. Choose 'POP3' from the following list:
   
5. This is the next screen that you will be prompted with:
   
6. The 'Username' is your full email address, EX: example@caltel.com:
7. The 'Password' is your email address password:
8. The 'POP3 server' is “pop3.caltel.com”:
9. The 'Security' is “SSL/TLS (always)”:
   
10. The 'Authentication' is “plain”:
11. The 'Port number' should be “995”:
12. It should look like this when you are done:
    
13. Click 'Next', it will next check the settings:
    
14. You will next be presented with the outgoing mail server settings:
    
15. The 'SMTP server' is “smtp.caltel.com”:
16. The 'Security' is “STARTTLS (always)”:
    
17. The 'Port' number is “587”:
18. The 'Authentication' is “Automatic”:
19. The 'Username' is your full email address:
20. The password is your emails password:
21. It should look like this when it is done:
    
22. Hit the 'Next' button:
23. There is no need to make any changes on this screen:
    
24. This is the next screen you will see:
    
25. Name your account, and type in your name:
    
26. You are now done!
