On a computer running Microsoft Windows, it is important to have up to date Antivirus Software that has not expired.  Your anti-virus software should be automatically downloading updates every day.

If your antivirus software is expired, you may need to pay for it's renewal or you will need to uninstall it and get another antivirus program.

If your current anti-virus program has expired, and you use your computer for personal use you can download a good free antivirus program called AVG antivirus.  Please be sure to uninstall your expired antivirus program first.  Look at our support article for more information on AVG Antivirus.

If you want more protection or you are using your computer in a business or organization then you may want to consider NOD32.  Please be sure to uninstall your expired antivirus program first.
