After Microsoft Windows is installed, it does not know how to talk to the hardware in your computer properly.  "Driver" software tells your computer how to properly communicate with your hardware including but not limited to:

• Video Card
• Sound Card
• Ethernet Adapter
• Wireless Adapter
• Dial-up Modem
• Motherboard Drivers
• and additional hardware installed in the computer

Please note that in most cases you will need to provide the appropriate driver disks.  If we have to download them off of the internet, there is no guarantee that the drivers will work properly.
