BIOS is specialized software for the motherboard in your computer. We will research the best BIOS for your motherboard and upgrade it for you.
Limit of Liability:
Upgrading the BIOS is risky and should only be done to support new hardware like additional memory, or to correct stability issues. The procedure is risky not because of the frequency of problems, but because of the severity of the problem when it does happens. A failed BIOS update will make the computer completely inoperable. Depending on the age and manufacturer of the computer, you will at least need a new motherboard, but likely a new computer.
CalTel is not responsible for computers that will no longer start after the BIOS update has been performed. The price that we charge for this service cannot warrant the potential repair costs. In the event of a failure as a direct result of an error on our part, we can only reimburse up to $150 for a replacement part.
