Android Mail is the default email app on Android smart phones running KitKat. The Android Mail app comes preinstalled on Android smart phones and this tutorial works on Android KitKat 4.4 - 4.4.4.
Open your Android settings, go to the 'General' tab and select 'Accounts & sync':
From the 'Accounts & sync' menu select 'Email':
From the 'Email' menu select 'Email Settings':
In the next email settings menu select 'Add account':
Under 'Select email provider' select 'Other':
Enter your full CalTel email address under 'Email address' and your CalTel email password under 'Password':
It will look similar to this and then select 'Manual setup':
Select 'POP3' from the 'Select account type' menu and then select 'Next':
You will then be presented with the 'Incoming server settings':
The 'POP3 server' is: pop3.caltel.com
The 'Security type' is: SSL
The 'Port number' is: 995
The 'Username' is your full CalTel email address, for example: test@caltel.com
The 'Password' is your CalTel email password
After all the information is entered, it will look similar to this:
Select 'Next' and you will be presented with the 'Outgoing server settings':
The 'SMTP server' is: smtp.caltel.com
The 'Security type' is: TLS
The 'Port number' is: 587
The 'Require sign-in' box should be checked
The 'Username' is your full CalTel email address, for example: test@caltel.com
The 'Password' is your CalTel email password
After all the information is entered, it will look similar to this:
Select 'Next' and it will check the information entered:
If everything checked out fine, you will be presented with the 'Setup completed' screen:
Under 'Account name' you can name your account.
Under 'Your name' you can set your display name for Android mail.
Select 'Done' when you are finished and setup is now complete.
